When should antifreeze be changed in a Porsche
997?  What type of Antifreeze?

You should only use the coolant from Porsche. Its orange and comes in a black can. I flush mine every 5 years.

You should not buy the coolant from Porsche. Buy Pentosin SF coolant, either on line from Rock Auto a a local store such as Auto Palace. Save a bundle and get the exact same coolant Porsche recommends. Mix it with distilled water 50/50.
