1996 Ford ranger not running right

My truck was running fine. I had to pull my
battery off to use it on another vehicle.  When
I but it back on my truck an crunk it up it wont
stay running and acts like it is trying to flood
out

something may have gone wrong by pure coincidence , test for proper spark , fuel pressure and injector pulse . Do you hear the fuel pump prime the system when you hit the key ?
