2x2 in 4x4 ttuck

I have. 96 ranger 4x4.  An the rear end is
bent.   I found one outta another truck that
2x2....  the axle code is the same (86).    Will
this rear end bolt up an work?    Or would I
have to get the front Axels an make mine
2x2.

If the gear ratio is different I could just change front Axels as well and it should be fine? Even didn't it would work just not run like it should correct?

Ok so if it is,. Just remove front driveshaft. An basiclyy make the truck 2 wheel drive until I found one geared the same ? Been on the look for a year now an no luck with a open 7.5, 373, with 9 inch drum brake.....

I'm just going to. Change the 3rd member an shim it.....just the housing outta the 2 wheel drive....thanks for the info
