what does code 1443 mean on my 1996 ford ranger

http://engine-codes.com/p1443_ford.html ... has to do with emissions EVAP, your charcoal canister is not being purged, or at least not as quickly as it should. Purge Control Solenoid or Purge Control Valve Fault

fuel fill tube needs replaced leaks when you fill the tank .(not a cheap fix ,bed has to be remove ,and fill tube is not cheap.
