I have a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero
I bought a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero ran
great took it home it's that all night the
next morning would not start tried to jump
it still would not start Botta new battery still
would not start changed out the fuel pump
to a new one still would not start the only
way to get it to start The only way to get it
to start is to lift the hood spray a little bit of
starter fluid in and it starts fine over and
over and over it starts fine but if it sits for
just a few hours or overnight then I have to
spray starter fluid again what's going on
scan for codes and have fuel pressure tested and fuel injectors tested.
Did u find out what it was?
It's the check valve on your fuel pump easy way to test is turn key to on position 3 times and then try to start it if it starts it's the check valve if not i cant help but worth a try good luck
Did you find out what it was
It's the 10amp fuse in the engine compartment in front of the compressor relay. This fuse will stop Alero from starting when it is cold. Fuse controlled bcm supply
It’s the 10 amp fuse because the ac compressor has a short. Either unplug ac compressor, get a circuit breaker 10amp, or replace ac compressor. Odd, but true.
