Not starting, especially first thing in the morning is most common. Lacks power, especially at highway speeds. See the full list: https://ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/fuel-pump-symptoms/

That weak a** highway driving. That’s how I found out. Was stepping on the gas and It wasn’t gaining much speed, so I let up and gassed it repeatedly to get going. Everyone behind me in the left lane was like wtf?? Passing me like I was an idiot, but really I’m thinking where is my power? No other symptoms for me. Sometimes if I drove somewhere and shut it off then turned it back in after short distance driving it would ‘long start’. This was rare. So mostly in the alero because the check valve is internal you get sluggishness between 45- 70 or so.
