will a head from a sr20det redtop (came off of a rwd) work on a sr20 de block (fwd)

...some people are telling me it will work and others are telling me it wont...ive been on forums every where and it still doesnt
answer any of my questions...and will the head gasket from the sr20de work for the sr20det head?
