Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So my rad ran dry. The temp gauge was on max, and i decided to see how far i could go until she died.   But now i'm trying to figure out what's wrong so i can fix it.  Any ideas.  I know theres only 60-90psi compression so i'm thinking head gasket or rings.   Is there anything im not thinking about?  shes got 430 000km i'll do the head gasket or anything easier.  But if theres a chance it could be the rings *%$# that.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

doubt its the rings, but definently a warped head and bad gasket. it got so hot that u couldve done a lot of damage tho.
