Does a 1998 Altima 2.4 L. 4 cyl. engine have a "PVC" valve, looked all over the engine and can't find it, book says it's located under the intake manifold screwed into the oil seperator. got underneath the car looked up under the manifold still can't find it. book also says some components are omittted on some engines, is this the case?

Yes, the 1998 Altima has a PVC valve, located on the passenger side of the motor behine the coolent sensor, coolent sensor has to be removed to get at PVC valve, still it's a bear to remove and replace, needs needle nose pliers and and bent piece of coat hanger, can't get ypur fingers on it ,only tools. about the worst place for a component that should be serviced from time to time.
