Corvette at altitude

Asked by Matthew Mar 08, 2020 at 10:26 PM about the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 2LT Coupe RWD

Question type: General

I am thinking about buying a corvette next year but I live in Colorado at 5000 feet.  I understand this will cause me to lose 15% of the HP.  Will I be disappointed and feel like it is sluggish?  If so is there a way to chip or tune to compensate for altitude?

1 Answer

It won't feel sluggish. The only way I know of to compensate for altitude is forced induction (super or turbo).
