Red engine light

I have ford 2013 C Max Hybrid. Been having
trouble with battery holding charge. Got apt
mon for diagnostic. Today i plugged car in
got it fully charged but now red engine light
is on. Is it safe to drive over weekend? I
work the next three nights.

This would depend on how good the battery is,if there is a charging problem with the system the car want travel to far with out leaving you beside the road,have you had the battery load tested?
