Car shuts off when I put it in gear runs great

When I first start car up and runs
great idles fine since their backs
perfect when I go to put it in gear
and like bogs down and dies or if I
give it gas and go down the road
and as soon as I hit the brakes it
dies it's almost like the torque
converter is locked up

Look for any broken loose vacuum lines especially at the brake booster
