Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I own an 02' sentra ser spec-v and my head gasket broke. Apparantley the was coolant in the plugs....what do i do now>? New engine? Was this a factory error?

probably need an engine, not factory error all gaskets rott and ones that have constant temperature changes and fluids run through them they tend to go first and go big

No it's not a factory error, head gaskets are very common on the 2.5 motors, your best bet would be to put a 07+ spec-v head-gasket on there it'll save you a lot of head aches and it's a bit more durable that the original
