Maxima SE started burning oil

Asked by Harvey Oct 15, 2017 at 11:43 PM about the 2002 Nissan Maxima SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 Maxima SE has 130k miles on it.  It's always burned some oil, but
lately it started burning a quart every 900 miles.  Should I be concerned?

Is your PCV clogged? These are so inexpensive that I would replace it. Also put 10 oz of Motorkote in your oil crankcase. Yes this is concerning at this rate. My 02 van burns maybe a half a quart in 5K miles. 209,000 miles
