my car die while driving on the freeway

I found that when my car did this it was a throttle position sensor. The part cost me just a few dollars and fifteen minutes of my time to replace. I found a video on You Tube that showed me the location and how to make the repair. Apparently when this sensor malfunctions, the engine cannot tell what speed it is going and shuts your car down. After you stop the car and restart it, the car works fine again until the next time.
