Do i have a bad head on my 2006 nissan altima?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i just replace the motor in my 2006 nissan altima but i think the motor my
mechanic bought had a bad head gasket on it. The car runs fine except
after the motor heats up white smoke begin coming from the tail pike so
much its like i m spraying for insects.  The oil looks good and it not running
hot. Do you think it a  bad head gasket?  If so, Should i buy just the head
gasket or the whole kit? Can t afford a new car right now.

That does sound like a head gasket but you will have to remove the head to know what is needed. It is likely that the head will need to be resurfaced as well but have a good auto machinist check it for warp.
