Broken radio

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer v8 xlt and my radio
doesn’t turn on I checked the fuses and the light
around the buttons comes on but no sound or
display please help

Check if there is an inline fuse or one internal to the radio. Ford radios are easy to remove with a special tool.
