my check engine light is flashing a code of 12 and 55. what are these codes

check engine light is flashing a code of 12 and 55. what are these codes?

Hi ckw! Code 12 is "Air flow sensor fault" and code 55 is "AV valve position sensor". Time to see a pro on this one. Good luck!

I had the same problem but it was a few more sensors. If you dont get those corrected asap then more sensors will go out

Sensors go out on an individual basis, whether they are tied into the same system (i.e. ABS,Engine, Fuel, etc.) or not.

By doing a simple Google search I was able to find the answer to this question. The answer to what the codes were above is obviously not correct especially since DSM's do not have an AV Valve http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl163g.htm
