Cycle the key 5 times to prime the fuel pump on and off. Could be water in the gas.Buy a bottle of dry gas. If t.his doesn't work the fuel pump may have went out/bad.

It is possible but running it low on gas probably overheated the fuel pump and it just quit working. Have someone get under it and smack the gas tank in the center and give the fuel pump a jolt. I it starts you will still need a fuel pump but you will be able to drive it to a garage instead of towing it.
