look at your engine mounts....movement is causing one of the ignition wires to short against the hood~http://www.stockwiseauto.com/product_info.php/products_id/133386/fit _id/8901/Year/1997/Make/Ford/Model/Expedition/source/googleps? gclid=CIXh2_C-z7sCFSEV7AodH2cAvA

wow that's the dumbest answer I have ever heard! yes you have a short but i don't see that being possible. do you have a engine light on?

jimtuttle...I've pushed the button in the right hand corner and reported this a "attacks an individual"...you just don't get it...have witnessed this phenomenon as a mechanic....granted that mount isn't like the rollie-polie side mounts, but the geometry within proximity to the high tension wires is critical~ secondly what does issuing the statement "dumbest answer" accomplish? master of all things that are dumb are ye~

you can push what ever button you like! don't care! i just hope that button starts to look at some of your unsafe answers that you have posted! i will ask some people about your issue on the shutting off while turning and get back to you as soon as i can unless the button kicks me off! lol

Clearly this truck has an ignition system....clearly the "right turn" changes the geometry so all ain't right with keeping the ignition system isolated~ the motor mounts....rolli-polli side to side ones may cause the high tension go come too close when the motor tilts left/or right...what else could cause a cut-out? there is no harm in using a floorjack to check the integrity of the motor mounts....why is this bad advise my friend...it's the only logical explanation~ ...dang, no harm in the examination....but rewards in replacing defective parts~ some people's kids...I tell ya~

ok lets stop.... The hood isn't even metal so how is your answer " look at your engine mounts....movement is causing one of the ignition wires to short against the hood~" happening ? really... it doesn't even have spark plug wires! it has a coil pack for each cylinder LMAO!!!!! so that shows you have no ideal about this suv so just stop trying to be that guy and stick to what you know whatever it may be.

you tell me if it isn't a threat? Jimmy, m'boy, just be "cool" and offer only things that are gonna help people~ that's why we're here....you know something....share your knowledge about it....and don't be shy~ feel like a stuck parrot sometimes insisting that GROUND is foremost if you are gonna get the electricals to behave themselves....just common sense....man, you are an attack king~ lighten up or you will perish~ roy .... PARISH IF I DONT LIGHTEN UP! DO YOU 2 NEED A ADDRESS?
