Why does my car crank up but shortly after, it will cut back off?

My car has been sitting in the yard for about 7 months because i didnt have my license. I recently put a brand new battery in it and qt. tank of gas but it cuts off seconds after it cranks up.

^^ Thanks guys Checked the relay and its fine... Just found out its the Fuel Pump. Thanks again

MY 1990 OLD 98 WAS RUNING REAL GOOD AND WHEN I WENT TO CRANK IT UP IT CRANK FIND AND THEN IT JUST CUT BACK OFF ON IT ON
