Knocking noice

Question type: General

I own a 2000 eclipse. 2.4 liter with
aftermarket header. Car sounds good idling
car sounds good running till about 3000 rpm
then this knocking rattling noice happens. If
I accelerate a little more noice stops. If I let
back out of gas to maintain speed sound
reappears. Any help appreciated

Its possible need to look it over real good see if you can replicate it while someone listens with hood up, if it does it in park/neutral and giving it gas.
