Mitsubishi Galant wont start, only starts when cold

Asked by jparras001 Aug 25, 2016 at 01:06 PM about the 2002 Mitsubishi Galant ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car will start when cold, once it runs for a while it won't start again, got spark,
got fuel, it cranks, but will not start, only after you let it cool down for a while it
will start. When trying to start, it sounds like as if it was an ECU issue, I have
tried resetting it, but still have the same problem.

Check the fuel pressure solenoid, this solenoid it there to provide a little extra pressure for cold start-ups...
