idle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

when car is at idle, cel is on and car starts to sputter.  I have changed spark plugs and the sputterring has ended unless car stays at idle too long.  any thoughts?

Throttle position sensor or Idle air controller or map sensor. Sounds more like the 1st one. My wifes car did the same and codes pointed to map sensor, then this then that, it was the throttle position sensor the whole time.
