Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put in a fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank with high test fuel, the good cleaner,
(treflon?) two days later, the service engine light stays on? When first going, it seems
a little slow, but runs great after I get up to 15 or 20?

This may be due to the fuel cleaner you put in the car,it may have up rooted trash,in your tank and pump, check the fuel filter, may be stopped up a little.

I had a feeling that I did up root trash! Thank You, It stated about 1&1/2 days after I put the fuel cleaner in.

also check the fuel injector micro filter.... if one gets plugged the engine runs lean and could burn a valve... (like me)
