How quickjly does a lt fron strut need to be repaired if it is leaking oil

The sooner the better. It all depends how much oil has leaked out. Once it starts to leak the strut is not working like it should and can be leaking the oil leak onto things that shouldn't, like the brakes. I would replace both front struts (always in pairs) and get it aligned as soon as you can.

TransAm77 is absolutely correct. As soon as I saw the question, this was my answer. Make sure you replace both struts as he said.
