Red light Stays on when key off.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Small red light (led like) on left side of dash just above air vent.  Stays on after
key off. What is it and how to turn off?  I think this isreason for draining
battery.

LED lights draw very, very little power. And this light is probably a theft deterrent indicator, showing that the alarm is on.

Is it the security light? Don't worry about it but you could measure the power draw with the key off if you are concerned.
