1998 3.0 no reverse

had a rebuilt trans put in 3000 miles ago. now no reverse

who did the work for you? will they give you some kind of warranty even though it might be a little too late- getting a rebuilt tranny for an old Taurus just sounds like a recipe for expensive disaster- maybe, if you are lucky, it could just be the linkage is off- if it is too expensive to go through the tranny thing again, I would just sell the car as is, and get a '95 Corolla-
