Blown hose on '04 Hyundai Sonata V6???

Asked by Helen Mar 25, 2020 at 01:09 PM about the 2004 Hyundai Sonata V6 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Fixing up my significant other's Sonata while he's at work. Last week it
overheated on his way to work. We had it towed to his place and threw it up
on ramps. There is a hose of some sort behind (towards the rear of the car)
the oil filter. It is metal with a plastic casing. Does anybody know what it is so I
can replace it? We've known that there is no power steering or heat either.
Any suggestions?

a photo would help. Maybe a coolant heater hose? That would explain the overheating and not heat. Not sure about the power steering.
