towing a trailer with trailer brakes

I just purchased an Ascent and they will install the towing package for $700.  
Will it have a trailer brake controller because my Casita is equipped with trailer
brakes.

Not too many cars come with trailer brake controllers. Some full sized pick ups do.

Wondering what you found out. I just purchased the same model and came from the factory with tow hitch installed. Do I need a separate break controller?

If you do not see a brake controller near the steering wheel you need to install one.
