Throw out bearing. or possibly input shaft bearing not as likely. Mileage is a BIG clue. Unless the clutch was changed recently.

I have 150,000 miles is that how long a throw out bearing lasts on a ford ranger?
How long the bearing lasts depends on how you use the clutch. If you tend to rest your foot on the pedal or sit at stop signs with the clutch pedal depressed the bearing won't last as long.
It shifts into gear but when I have the clutch in and a neutral it grinds sometimes so I think it's a throw out bearing any ideas
