Could be a bad fuse. Look for the wire that goes to the window and see if it is damaged.
I checked the fuse and it's good, as well as the wires to the defogger grid. The defogger grid has no chips or cracks in it. Could it be the defogger relay?
You do have a warranty so I would not spend a lot of time researching the problem.
