2003 Navigator New battery but consistently goes dead

Asked by Jessica Mar 12, 2017 at 09:54 AM about the 2003 Lincoln Navigator Luxury RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2003 Navigator...brand new battery yet it
still is dead on random mornings.  Side note the
seater heaters do not work and the rear wiper does
not quirk either. Could it all be related?  Any
suggestions?

The rear window wiper can be causing this. It tries to return the wiper to it's home position. As it keeps trying, it runs the battery down. I just replaced the rear wiper mechanism on my 2010 Navigator because it was seized up. I got the part off Ebay for about $40.

Thank you Jamie, that is EXACTLY what was happening. I had it replaced and it hasn't happened since! Somehow my back windows also started opening again also?
