I do not want to throw money at this. Fuel pump, cat converter, any other answers?

Fuel pump would no cause the issues you describe. Dirty or clogged fuel injectors would. Using anything but Premium gasoline "gums" the injectors up very quickly, within a tank or two. Before changing out any more parts it would be worth it to use a high quality fuel system treatment. Lucas makes a high strength version that works well and BG 44K, while the most expensive out there, is very effective.

Man.. Damn navigators. I had same problem mine had a lean fuel code ran super rough started cutting off on me at red lights.Threw over $1000 at it unnecessarily for MAF sensor, plugs, coils, o2 sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump, 3x diagnostics and finally got it running right after the proper mechanics reinstalled plugs and coils. They even unclogged my catalytic converter by disconnecting and banging out all the buildup. Runs excellent now. What codes are your engine throwing out
