Normal? What idiot dealer told you that? I think you have a plugged up door drain. I would complain directly to Subaru of America.

I am having same problem with my Impreza 2017 . All four doors full of water after rain . Found that water entering at bottom of glass . The black stripe is the problem. Subaru should call back all 2017 Impreza. Don from Gatineau quebec

2018 Crosstrek limited drivers door holds water until door opened when it pours out. My dealer claims never heard of the problem but is working to solve it. Factory tech on the way--going on two weeks now--nice people providing a new suv loaner at no cost.

I have a 2018 premium crosstrek. is having the same problem. Sometimes when I roll down the window, then roll it back up there is water on it, when it has not rained in a couple days. I also have the issue with water pouring out of the bottom of the doors. I brought it in once, and they said they cleaned the drain holes...but it still does it. Did any of you find a solution?

I have a 2018 XV and does the same thing, i park on a slight incline. water can sit in the doors for days before draining when the door is opened....obviously pours our because the door is level when its open, bit concerned as to what its doing to the interior of the doors....

Maybe window alignment pads are askew. I'd have SOA readjust them gratis, as the inner panels have to be gingerly removed for access.

I have a 2017 Subaru Outback and the driver's door pours out water after it rains. No other doors do that. My driveway has a slight incline and I park facing out so the hood is on a decline. Shouldn't matter. I brought it to dealership for this specific problem, and was told it is normal. Will Subaru fix my door when it rusts??? I have my car undercoated every year too and undercoating won't protect my car from this.

unroof? If yes, the drainholes may be clogged. Have them blown out. Bo sunroof? Windshield replaced recently? If so, suspect seal.
