Check for vacuum leaks and see if the throttle body butterfly is closed all the way at idle.

What engine do you have? I am sure it has some type of idle control valve. Make sure it is working correctly. Tap on it and see if the idle corrects itself.

Engine is 4.0 ,, we have check everything .. We even tap on it an it won't correct itself.. When you start it , it is such very aggressive high idle... running out of ideas
