Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My JEEP just cut off on me the other day and I had to get it towed home. I
have checked the starter, I can jump it to make to make it crank. I did notice
that the volt meter and fuel gauges were not working however, all the normal
lights did come on with the key. I have verified the ingnition switch is working.
I have thought about jumpng the ASD. Verified that the NSW is in fact
working too.  Also I cannot hear the fuel pump come on with the key in the
"on" position. Do you think it's a bad PCM???

If you can't hear the fuel pump, the problem is more likely something in that system; maybe as simple as a blown fuse. If the volt meter isn't working, that could indicate a dead alternator, and with the engine running, that would kill the battery really quick. That could also be the reason the fuel pump isn't working.
