My 99 Ford Explorer acts like it want to cut off when you press the gas.

Hey, I have a 99 Ford Explorer and it
cranks up good and when you put it
into drive it runs good. But when you
press the gas it seems as if its losing
pressure.

Try removing the air filter and driving it around the block. Could be blocked. Clean the throttle body and MAF.

The Fuel filter is a PITA to change - 3 ports and a disconnect tool under a shield or 2. Don't leave the shields off.

I have a 97 ford explorer when you press the gas it will jerk and when I go up a hill it act like it want to stop cut off and it will start jerking but soon as you get on a flat smooth road it run good
