making noise when in reverse and loud whining noise when you let off gas

Most of the time when I put my truck into reverse
makes grinding noise and if I go above 30 and let
off gas makes loud whining noise does anyone
know what it could be??

Definitely sounds like a tranny problem. You'll need advice from a tranny shop, probably a overhaul or rebuild.
