Do I need a battery charge?

Asked by thailen Mar 25, 2020 at 12:44 PM about the 2017 Honda Fit LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm planning to leave my covered garage parked Honda 2017 FIT for 3 months. Do I need someone to start it f04 10 minutes once of twice during that 3 month to keep the battery charged?

Running it for 10-mins at idle speed will do more harm than good. Get a battery matainer and hook it up to the battery. Plug in the maintainer and all will be good when you return home

On something this new I'd go with the battery maintainer if you have power at your garage. This way you know the battery will be kept charged. Hope that helps! Jim
