How do I prevent further cracking in the sidewall of a tire?

Asked by Guru3GJNW Jul 21, 2020 at 06:41 AM about the 2011 Honda Fit Sport

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Two of my tires have small cracks in the side wall.
They are not deep, nor are they close together.
What can I do to prevent further damage?

Tires replacement is recommended every six years due to age not mileage. IF yours are original and like FOR said, replace them.
