I have a 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer and the windows will not go up or down.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When pressing the window buttons you hear the
relays clicking away from thereal i decided to check
the rubber boot housing the wire harness going
from door to body of truck. I found that when I
played long enough moving wires around I could
briefly get them to work which leads me to believe
its a damaged wire. I don't know how to get more
room to inspect wires. Is there a way to pull some
slack out?? I'm pretty sure I'm on right track but
was wondering if anybody had some tips?

You got it problem, you may need to remove the panel and snake a new wire. Make sure you disconnect the battery, also get a memory saver and install it on the battery wire before you remove the battery it will save any memory programmed in your car such a radio setting. Good luck with the repair...

Do you mean a wire from the fuse to the brake lite button on the brake peddle or from the fuse box to the TR sensor?
