is the extra maintenance service contract worth it on a new car?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2015 Subaru Forester has been a total disaster. 2 new engines and recently almost the entire AC system had to be replaced in 55k miles. My extended warranty paid for the AC repairs which were over $1,500. The original factory warranty paid for the engines. I did not have to pay for the extended warranty. How much are they asking?

If you are asking if a maintenance only contract addition is a good idea, I would say save your money and just pay for the regular maintenance. Now an extended warranty on a Subaru would be a good idea as they seem to have lots of problems.
