Had a very bad experience, where can I write a review

Asked by Linda Mar 17, 2020 at 05:25 PM about the 2017 Toyota RAV4 LE

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I bought a car that Freeway Toyota listed on CarGurus for $18,598.  I called
ahead to have the car held, drove 248 miles, and THEN was told that I had
to pay $199 for the mudflats on the vehicle and $999 for their 160-point
inspection. I asked specifically if I had a choice in paying for those "Value
Add-ons" and the salesman, Mark Smalls, said I had no choice.  It is
deceiving to list a car for one price and then have $1200 added on once the
customer arrives.  The car delearship is aware of the issue and have done
nothing to resolve it.  I bought the car because I had come so far.  Now I
wish I had not.  What scammers. Where can I write a review?

I tried what you said but there was no "Find Dealers" tab. I am very tech savvy, so tell me where on the page that is and I'll find it. I can't believe how difficult it is to post a review.

If you already bought the car why did you give them more money after taking delivery?

I did not give them more money AFTER delivery. It was after I arrived, not after delivery, when things changed. I am 70 years old, and I trusted that this man was an honest. So when he said that I had no choice since the mudflaps were already on the car and the 160- point inspection had been done, I felt I had no choice.
