Asked by Guru98LX97 May 13, 2022 at 05:47 PM about the 2017 Buick LaCrosse Preferred FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2017 Buick LaCrosse with battery in trunk. How do you change it out? It
certainly won't fit threw the access cover will it? Do you have to remove the
interior wheel well trim piece? What am I missing here? There are no youtube
videos or anything online that I can find. Thanks for the help!

Open the trunk and remove the access panel to access the battery. Remove the U shaped bracket holding the battery down, then the bolt for the battery clamp. At this point you can remove the negative terminal then the fuse box cover and positive cable. Remove the battery and Installation is in reverse.
