I just put a used PCM in my 2000 ford taurus. How I reset the theft system or relearn it so that it will start?

that has a chip key must be reset by locksmith or dealer

Hey Zach I see this from a year ago but did the used PCM work once you got the key reset? Or did you have to get the PCM reprogrammed
