Will a 1991 c1500 regular cab fit onto a 1985 c1500 frame?

Have a low mileage c1500 regular cab with 8' box, but frame is getting pretty weak. Found a really nice, solid, rolling 1985 c1500 frame that had an 8' box and want to make the swap. I'm ok with making some modifications, but just want to get an idea on how extensive it will be.
