Will a 2001 chevy tahoe engine go in a 95 chevy c1500

I have a 95 chevy c1500 5.7 that has seized I have
found a 2001 chevy tahoe with a good engine and I
just wanna know if it will work

Nope, the 2001 model is OBD II but the 95 model could be either OBD I or OBD II. My advice with anything like this on a 1995 model GM is junk it and move on! There's too many variables with a 95. It's not worth the headache. Especially when the vehicle is 26 years old!! Jim

I got the engine in it to crank. It wasn't seized after all I just needed to left alone for a bit to figure it out. Has a knock now thinking of rebuilding thanks though Jim.
