Engine light on in car.

Car is shaking while driving and idle. Can feel
vibrations in steering wheel making loud fan noise
check engine light on as well. What is wrong ?

Probably as simple as a worn out serpentine belt. If you really want to know what's causing this, we can't diagnose your car from here. And if you can't figure it out by sticking your head under the hood, take it to a mechanic.

Sounds like a dead cylinder. With how complex Cadillac's are I suggest you take it to your favorite shop and get checked out. The sooner the better as these things can get worse very quickly.
