It might have come undone off the roller or track. Time to replace or repair. Is your XT5 still under warranty?

My sunshade did the same thing. Wrinkled up and stuck. After trying several times to get the sun shade to move I gave up. The next morning I went out and started the car and pushed the button and it closed.
